Laser Surgery Offers a Safer Solution for Your Pet
Our doctors perform surgical procedures using a state-of-the-art surgical laser which provides many benefits to our patients. Because the laser cauterizes as it cuts, there is less bleeding and a reduced risk of infection. With laser surgery, there is less pain and swelling associated which promotes a quicker recovery.
Same Day Blood Work Results
We have the capability to perform most of the blood testing in our lab, right here in the clinic. In most situations, we are able to give you results before you leave your appointment which may mean less anxiety for you and a quicker response to an illness for your pet. Being able to perform blood testing here at the clinic also means that we can respond much quicker to emergencies, should that occurrence ever arise.
In-House Digital X-Rays
Our digital X-ray system allows the doctors to view the highly-detailed radiographs immediately, without having to wait for developing and processing. Our system is linked to The Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center and MedVet to allow for the most efficient transfer of radiographs to these referral centers. The doctors are able to interpret films and put together a treatment plan for your pet. If a consultation with a specialist is necessary, the x-rays are sent out and read by a board certified radiologist. Results and plan of action are available within 24 hours.
