Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital History

Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital LobbyCheshire Crossing Animal Hospital was founded by the husband and wife team of Dr. Adam Ballard and Dr. Leah Carpenter and opened its doors to clients on June 11, 2007. A vision of Dr. Ballard and Dr. Carpenter as well as Jim and Dottie Carpenter, the 2.26 acres of land that our 3000 sq. ft. hospital sits on was purchased and subsequently developed with the expertise of Clarke Architects, Cornerstone Engineering and Countryside Construction.

Both Dr. Ballard and Dr. Carpenter have an extensive history with animal care and they share a passion for small animal medicine. As plans for the hospital were developed, it was in hopes that they could somehow convey to their clients that old fashioned service and familiarity that veterinary clinics of their youth were known for, while at the same time practicing compassionate and progressive medicine.
