Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital is a country-style practice with personal and friendly service. The hospital has a professional yet relaxed atmosphere. Outstanding medicine and surgery are practiced every day. Our staff cares deeply for all animals and we work hard to achieve a common goal – optimizing the health and vitality of your pets. Come in and meet us to see our facility for yourself. You can even bring your pet for a friendly visit where he or she can simply get acquainted with our team.
Mission Statement
The mission of Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital is to provide the community with exceptional progressive veterinary care and outstanding client service. The doctors and staff will seek to foster the human animal bond by creating an environment in which clients have the opportunity to give their pets the best possible health care as dictated by individual expectations, personal definitions, and financial abilities.
Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital was founded by the husband and wife team of Dr. Adam Ballard and Dr. Leah Carpenter in June of 2007. Dr. Carpenter’s parents Jim and Dottie Carpenter guided the hospital vision, design and subsequent development.
Both Dr. Ballard and Dr. Carpenter have an extensive history with animal care, sharing a

common passion for small animal medicine. The doctors developed their hospital with intentions of conveying the old fashioned service and familiarity that veterinary clinics of their youth were known for, while at the same time practicing compassionate and progressive medicine.
